I got the pink case, it looks just like the photo. It appears that this will protect it in the event I drop the tablet when the case is closed, I'm not as confident if I were to drop it while it's open, but I don't tend to walk around with it open so it shouldn't be a problem. I am unimpressed with the stand portion. It is so stiff that it straightens back out if I attempt to use it, I tried to loosen the fold a bit but I don't want to get to crazy and end up damaging it. So the stand part is useless in my opinion. I end up just using the entire cover as the stand.
