I bought this brush to use as a "dry brush". This is a technique where you vigorously brush your skin BEFORE getting into the shower, in large, firm, circular strokes. You loosen dead skin sells and promote new cell growth through stimulation. Dry brushing is also considered a way to "break up" cellulite. This brush is soft enough to not irritate but firm enough to do the job, and the perfect size.
