A major improvement-worth the extra money
I recently purchased the OpenRun (Aeropex) headphones for 129 dollars and had the following issues: The collar encircling the head in the back had a large circumference, making a less than ideal fit over the ears; The charging port was right adjacent to the low volume/high volume buttons; The multifunction button was flush with the surface of the headset, making it difficult for my finger to find it; The audio overall was very good but base tones were poorly heard. I am pleased to say that these headphones are a significant improvement, and they are worth the extra money. The posterior collar is smaller, enabling a better fit; The charging port has been moved away from the volume/power buttons; The multi-function button has now been raised so it is easily palpable; The audio quality is more crisp: Base reproduction is better, although will need ongoing improvement; There is now an app, which might update firmware, such as in improvement in base quality; Last but not least, rather than struggle putting the headset into a silicone pouch, there is a hard plastic case with a groove for the headset to lie in. You also get a cool looking thin headband. So: get these and enjoy! These are now good enough to be an alternative to in-ear headphones and allow "situational awareness. P.S. I enjoy these most when listening at half to three-quarters volume. With the bone technology, raising to full volume distorts the sound.
