What a terrific read!
I've enjoyed John Miller's essays and articles for years. I never knew he had such a wonderful novel in him! The story is masterfully told and the characters are vivid and compelling. For those of us who love getting absorbed in historical fiction you can do no better than this. I highly recommend it.
