I'm using this product as a lumbar support on my recumbent trike. The seat on the trike is comfortable, but I need more support for my lower back. This back cushion did this and more. It not only gives me lower back support, it enhances the comfort of my entire back. As it works so well in this application, I can see it working on lawn furniture, and, well, just about anywhere you sit. Well worth the money. NOTE: The pad is placed upside down on my trike to push my seating position forward, and to provide a more gradual transition from the pad to the seat back. In more traditional applications, it will be reversed.
