My thumb nail started splitting about two or three years ago. I tried everything to try to help the split grow out. Every nail strengthener I could find in local stores to bandaging the split with tea bag paper. Nothing helped. This summer the nail split so far down I wasn't even able to clip the edges of the nail off anymore. It hurt constantly. I found this product and questioned whether or not it was worth the price, since I didn't expect it to work any better than anything else I had tried. The first picture (split nail) is what my nail looked like when I received my bottle of OPI nail strengthener. Every time anything touched my nail, it would flex and split more. I used this mail strengthener as directed, applying a new coat every other day, removing it all after seven days and starting over. The second picture is after two months of use. For the first time in over two years, there's no split in my nail! It has grown out so much I actually need to cut it because it's getting long, not to clip off split edges to reduce snagging!! I'm absolutely shocked at how well this product worked.
