So good that I got grossed out
So I'm going to be candid and possibly reveal TMI: I rarely wash my bras. As in... ever. OK, maybe twice a year. I know. I'm disgusting. In my defense, I DO have 10 "regular" bras that I cycle, and I wash my sports bras after each use, but, yeah, OK, still gross.
So I finally gave in to my sister's "YOU ARE SO GROSS" comments-- OK, so it was moreso that I actually read that it helps the longevity of bras to wash them regularly. So after reading reviews and watching the "how to" video from The Laundress, I decided "looks easy enough" and got the wash. It came in and I filled the sink and tossed in a few bras and let them sit. I came back after the soaking and the water was murky and there was stuff floating on top like a swamp. It was so. gross. I had no idea!!!! They didn't stink and they LOOKED clean!!!! But no, they were absolutely filthy.
I rinsed, rolled and hung dry and they really did look quite fabulous.
Not sure how it would compare to Woolite or some other wash out there, but this stuff is really delicate and since it's a liquid it dissolves in water super easy (vs a powder formula) and it smells quite lovely. Plus, it is super duper concentrated, and a teeny amount (as in 1 capful) cleans the garments, and it's only 4-8 capfuls to clean clothes in a washer ("capful" is the teeny black cap you see in the picture, it's about an inch high.)
I highly recommend it.
