Very Cool! Give it time
I loved the look immediately. I originally bought it for the shop but started out setting it on the table next to my recliner. It would not read the atomic radio signal for about 5 days and the weather prediction segment was totally crackers. It showed rain when it was clear and sunshine at night. I eventually took it to the shop as i mostly wanted the indoor outdoor temp and humidity readings. The thermometer function seem to be functioning well. After two days in the shop it finally found the radio wave to set the time. I was very happy about that. I ordered another brand because I wanted one in the house. The second one (La Crosse Technology C85845 Color Wireless Forecast Station ) came in and I set it up, side by side, with the Newentor in the shop. They both synced with the Colorado time service. After about a week the temperatures, indoor and outdoor, were within 1-2 degrees with each other and two other digital and two analog thermometers I had in the shop. After about two weeks of comparing temps, I brought the Newentor back to the table by my recliner. It has kept in sync with the Colorado time service ever since. After about a month, I began to notice the "predictive" function seemed to be improving. Going on the second month of watching the 'weather forecaster' section is nearly perfect. It seems the clock simply needs some time to achieve sync and to acquire a long enough history to perfect its forecasting. I am very impressed and highly recommend this product.
