I have a 13 year old Yorkie who is a rescue. He has always been nervous to go to a groomer, so I have learned to groom him. When the hair between the pads on his feet gets long, it causes him to slip on the hardwood floors. It is very difficult to get in between them with a regular pet grooming "buzzers", because it's too big. We always wrestle when it comes to this part, it has to be done. When using this product for the first time, he honestly fell asleep. He will fall asleep while Imgroom him laying down, and roll him over when needing to trim the other side. It is very quite, and he actually enjoyed, for the first time, me trimming the hair between his toes and pads of his feet. I'm delighted to have found and purchased this item!
