1. Excellent compact traveler that is dual voltage per Remington (owned mine for almost 2 years and travel with it always. 2. I have straight, fairly thick shoulder-length asian hair with a layered cut and made these helpful changes: a) Call Remington1-800-392-6544 b) I ordered 5 replacement large red rollers ($3.99/5) product # RP00023 and replace the small black with these so I get a total of 10 large red (perfect for the length of my hair) c) I also ordered these butterfly clips #RP 00261 (20 FOR $5.99) which have great grip and pretty compact To me, with these changes, it makes it very versatile for most hairstyles. As a hint, if you can leave it in until it cools, the set will last even longer. p.s. It hasn't broken even when I've forgotten to unplug unit several times. I actually use the remote controls to turn it on/off as plug is under and makeup table. Update: Returning the clips; I like the cage ones better. Solves the problem of no grip as you can see these are pre-formed Order #RP00226 $1.99 for 6 so you would need to order 2 sets if want enough for a 10-large roller set. Sorry thought they would be better but only for packing; not actual gripping. Update... The cage ones might leave lines or dents... But I still love this...Works fine internationally too.
