This olive oil has a nice pleasant peppery flavor to it. Keep this in mind before you add spices to it. It does impart that flavor to the food. If you are health conscious, do a little research regarding olives grown in hard conditions! And North Africa provides some of the hardest conditions available. My only gripe is the shipping packaging. The oil is in a 1 gallon can. The shipping container was an oversized box with one piece of packing paper thrown in. By the time it was delivered to me, the can was pretty beat up. Thankfully the pour spout was still ok.
