I love the ambience of this lamp but it is too much of a mess. The salt melted all down over my dresser. Even with a paper towel & coaster under it, it was still messy. Will be boxing up & putting in storage. *****As an update to this review -- Levoit has reached out & are sending a replacement lamp for me to try. There customer service has been phenomenal with replies & want their customers to be happy with their purchases. I can't wait to try the new lamp & see if it works better. Right now I am going to give them a four star instead of 2 just for their customer service & if the replacement lamp works -- they will most definitely get a five star. ****
