Pretty good. Just learn how to care for these pans prior to purchase.
This was a steal. ******First before you purchase***** watch some videos on YouTube of how to care for cast iron. NEVER use soap of any kind. NEVER dishwash. Use chainmail scrubber and warm water to get residue from food off. Prior to cooking I would season these pans yourself a few times. Grab a non lint cloth and pour a small amount of olive, vegetable , or flax seed oil on the pan and spread it evenly on every surface. Place skillet side down in the oven at 375 F for 1 hour. Turn off oven and let these pans cool naturally and SLOWLY in the oven. This process will help you get a good draining and make cleanup easier and cooking more fun. You may need to do this a few times. The first dish should be high fat content like bacon. This will add to the seasoning which will help make the skillet more non-stick like. These skillets take some TLC but eventually you will create a great seasoning and there is truly no better tool for your cooking than cast iron. You don’t want to change temps in the pan quickly so don’t use water immediately on the pan and use warm water at that. Also near in mind these will keep heat much longer than any other pan so always be careful about overheating or picking it up and not remembering that handle can be EXTREMELY hot. Just learn to season and care for the pans and they will last you a lifetime. And more than likely outlive you.
