Good for the price and the size with a few issues
I just got this today so I've only really tested it once so I may add to this review a little later on. Now to start, for the price and the size this is a fantastic little juicer. Yes you could probably get one that is slightly more powerful and can handle larger amounts of juice and produce with a larger pulp spout than this one has for slightly more money (or less if you got a centrifugal juicer). I had a fair amount of difficulty with it getting clogged when I juiced pineapple and celery, specifically. It didn't seem to have any problem with carrots, apples, kale, and just a little bit of trouble with ginger. So if you tend to stick with the more fibrous fruits and veggies that's probably going to continue to be a hassle and I feel like it might put more wear on the engine and other parts so it might not last as long in which case a full size masticating juicer might be better. That being said, I took the time and juiced about a half a gallon of juice using the above mentioned produce and can say it went pretty quickly for a masticating juicer. More than anything, this juicer's appeal comes in its footprint. It is incredibly small. Much smaller than other juicers I have seen and used. It is slightly taller than a roll of paper towels and not even as wide as a full roll. If you were looking to juice on a budget or are trying juicing at home for the first time and have limited space, this is a very good option. Pros: small footprint and works for small-ish batches of juice before overheating. (I made a half of a gallon -which is a decent amount- before I felt like it needed a break.) Cons: pulp spout gets clogged relatively easily and is not as easy to clean as I would like. I also had a little bit of difficulty putting it back together properly as you have to twist and lock the top part onto the motor and sometimes it takes a few attempts. Overall, has a budget masticating juicer I found that this is probably one of the better options especially if you're looking at getting one under $100 and just juice casually. Now, if you have the budget to spend just a little bit more and counter space isn't an issue I would suggest a full sized juicer as that one would probably last a little bit longer depending on how often you use it It would probably only set you back another $50 or so. (Not sure how to link it but the ones by Aioken are pretty good and currently on sale for Christmas.) All that being said, I'm pretty happy with my purchase as of right now. Like I said, I will update the review in a month or so depending on how it goes. :)
