Our 60 pound German shepherd backs up about 100 feet, revs up his engines and charges the couch, leaping about 20 feet from his landing zone on the middle cushion, and landing like a massive clod, head over paws, on the farthest arm, sending the couch skidding a good 10 feet toward the table, lamp, Grandma's fragile China. Imagine our delight upon seeing his face after we put these babies on the couch feet. STOPPED the couch from budging, totally destroying his world view and faith in humanity. He is still traumatized, and will need extensive psychotherapy, but the rest of us are THRILLED.
