Our cat, Turkey, loves this vacuum! The soft bristle brush does not pull or tangle in her short hair. I would not use this on a long haired animal. Not only can I vacuum her hair off the furniture but also can groom her with it. She begs for a daily brushing!!!!! Cats have very sensitive skin so she only gets one grooming a day. It sure saves the upholstery by minimizing the furniture vacuuming. Thanks!
