I bought this phone for my elderly mother as she has lost much of her hearing. We had some issues with the phone and I left a not so great feedback on this item. The manufacturer, VTech, contacted me about our issues and made the decision to send my mom a new replacement base unit to take care of any issues we had. I did not ask them to do this nor did I expect this to happen. They did this on their own and completely their decision. They could have just walked away and done nothing at all but they stood behind their product like few companies do. Buy this item with absolutely no worries, if you have ANY issues they will take care of you.
