Reviewing these is hard.. they do exactly what's advertised. They absorb water and get bigger and my kids loved them. So hey 5 stars for that. However..Took about 30 seconds to realize that water beads are a playpen or outdoor activity. Took 2 minutes to realize this is NOT how to buy myself work from home time. Took 5 minutes to realize I'd made a huge mistake. Gift them to kids if you hate their parents. Parents, gift them to your kids if you love trying to pick up thousands of bouncyballs covered in vaseline. And DO NOT, under any circumstance, think it'll be a fun idea to do in the kitchen and maybe sweep up a few wayward beads afterwards. They bounce, EVERYWHERE. In the thousands. They are slippery and pop when stepped on but are impossible to sweep or pick up. They are now called Satans Caviar and slippery-bouncy-hellballs at our house and a few loners just live permanently in every room now. So please. Be warned. Buyer beware. Good cheap fun? Sure, but hours of consequence for 5 minutes of play. Oh, and i only used a few teaspoons to start with. I have almost the whole jar left... so there's your value for money rating.
