I own the HMDX Audio JAM Bluetooth Wireless Speaker and I just bought the JBL Micro Wireless speaker. I compared them by using 2 iphone 5 connected to the same song on youtube and played them at the same time. After fading the volume up and down on each speaker it is clear that even though the HMDX Jam is a little louder the JBL definitely a clearer and cleaner sound. I use this outside while working construction. All my coworkers are amazed at the big sound coming from this little speaker. It says it will last 5 hours but I have been using it most of the day on my 10 hour shift and I have not had it die on me yet. Maybe because we don't always play it at full volume. I love it!!!
