Box works nicely, but kitty is broken.
This actually serves it's purpose. I don't like covering with a lidded box thinking the air in there would choke me, so why suffocate my Bubby? Libby does her business like a proper lady and very gracefully exits. No real mess in her jelly bean toes. The high sides prevent any excess scatter. Bubby is one of those "special" kitties who believes everything is actually a competition to be won. He goes at digging like there's buried treasure in there, then he grabs handfuls of litter and PITCHES it over the sides. This fails to cover his job so he will continue scrabbling and pitching for quite a while. When satisfied that he removed enough litter, he hops out and bounces away as though the floor is hot lava. He is still a kitten, though he weighs as much as canned ham. I'm hoping he will catch on. Ok, first pic is Bubby from months ago. Second pic is now, that's my broken Bubbles.
