The first time I bought this mug, I loved it with the fire of a thousand suns. Unlike the steel-walled or silicone travel mugs I'd tried before, it doesn't leave my tea tasting like I brewed it in the heel of a gym shoe, and it keeps it at the perfect temperature. Then, disaster struck. It fell out of my purse on the garage floor and shattered into a million shards. Once I stopped weeping a week later, I ordered the mug again. Mug Volume 2 must have come from a different factory or something because the lid never fit properly and the rubberized sleeve feels like someone tried to put an extra-large Trojan condom on a not-so-well-endowed guy. It falls off constantly, and gunk gets trapped underneath it in the dishwasher (I just ruined the condom simile, didn't I?) All that to say your mileage may vary with this mug. I'd buy it again, but I'd have the good sense to send it back before it's too late if I got another one suffering from floppy condom syndrome.
