Just bought two of these and wanted to load DD-WRT, but found out no support for Version 9 initially. Browsing the FTP site I came across the experimental drivers and gave the ma shot. Boom no issues, and working in under 5 minutes. READ THE DD_WRT site to ensure you cover the steps correctly. Below is what I did and it worked for me. 1. Get factory-to-dd-wrt for version 9 ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2014/05-23-2014-r24118/tplink_tl-wr841ndv9/ 2. Change local static ip to 192.168.0.3 then web interface to the TP-Link using internet explorer 3. login admin/admin navigate to advanced and firmware 4. Upload firmware and wait for the web page to timeout 5. change local ip static to 192.168.1.3 and then web to 192.168.1.1 6. Sit back in awe at your awesomeness.
