Excellent
Reason for buying: A larger cage for my budgie (parakeet) Cost: I bought it for around $62. This is a considerably better price than at large chain pet stores and local bird specialty stores in the area Accepting Bird Care Items: The cage utilizes typically spaced bars for a budgie cage and easily accepts my rope perches, natural wood perches and interactive toys. Features: - Easy assembly. It came with very detailed instructions and simple picture directions. I utilized the simple directions. It comes as individual sides that snap together. Very straight forward. It is sturdy after being assembled. - Snap-Off Bottom. This cage utilizes two snap closures to secure the cage to the base. Each is sturdy. This allows you to easily lift the cage off the bottom, the wire grate off and clean the entirety of the cage bottom. Having owned both the "snap-off" cage and the typical "drawer" style cages that are far more common - this one is much, much easier to clean. One can simply dump the contents out and spray it down, getting all the corners easily. I prefer this style. - Food Doors. On either side at the bottom of the cage are doors to slide the bowls in. Easily accessible. A nice feature. - Protective "roofs" on over each food bowl. There are slanted, plastic roofs that cover the bowls preventing the bird's droppings from contaminating it's food. This is especially useful if you free feed pellets as I do. - Hinged doors. The guillotine style doors that are typically on cages are very unsafe and can easily injure a bird. These doors swing both out and in on hinges only and do not drop. A nice feature is also the doors swinging inward and stopping at the exact same level - thus forming a landing platform to allow the bird to easily fly in and out of the cage. I have never seen this feature on another cage and I (and my bird) love it. The doors are directly next to each other allowing you to open both and have a very wide door to slide larger perches, bird baths, etc into the cage that would not fit through the typical bird cage door. - Bar Spacing. This model has an excellent spacing for budgies. Easy for my budgie to climb however close enough together to prevent ensnarement. - Accessories. The cage comes with two perches and two food bowls (each bowl is subdivided into two). The perches are varied in size from tip to tip adding variety to the perches in the cage which is advised for budgies. The "Vision" cages also have various accessories meant to fit the cage (and most other wire cages) specifically. Depending on what you want in your cage this may be an added advantage to you. I personally like most of the accessories that can go with the cage however it does not effect the quality of cage but may effect the cage in the future.
