THE WEST IS BEST
Kevin Costner and a beautiful Big Sky Background. What more could you need or ask for? Costner is pure perfection in this role as a Montana rancher. Its all there - the dysfunctional family, over-the-top wealth, and the harsh realities of 21st century living in the Old West. This family drama is far more than "Dallas" or "Dynasty," however. There are complexities dealing with family dynamics and the real life struggles of trying to preserve a life that is rapidly disappearing. If you love Westerns, old and new, you will love this show. It reminded me that Costner's greatest role was in a western ("Dances with Wolves") and he surely knows how to do them right.
