Oxy Gen2 = Hydrogen Peroxide
I just bought the Bissell SpotBot. As someone else mentioned, using the recommended amount of Oxy Gen2 would get expensive quickly. I measured the SpotBot tank volume markings, and it happens to be 14 oz water, 16 oz Oxy Gen2, and 1.5 oz of Pet Stain and Odor remover 2X concentrate. This one 31.5 oz of mixed solution will do two 6 minute set in stain cleanings. With Oxy Gen2 priced at about 6 buckeroos a 32 bottle, this could get expensive in a hurry.
So time for some sleuthing to determine what chemical composition Oxy Gen2 is made up of. Wasn't hard to find. I Googled for the MSDS sheet, and it turns out Oxy Gen2 is nothing more than plain old hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of less than 5%.
Turns out you can buy 32 oz bottles of 3% hydrogen peroxide in the pharmacy areas of most retailers for less than one dollar!
