Works well with some minor flaws
We used these foot warmers at the recent NHL Stadium Series games outdoors at Yankee Stadium. The temperatures were below 20 degrees at times and we were outside for over 5 hours each time, although with travel home from the games I wound up wearing them close to 11 hours before taking my boots off. They worked very well ( I would purchase again ) but I will point out some minor issues I experienced.
-- Too small: They are 1 size fits all, so my wife and I with very different sized feet had the same size warmer. I would suggest sliding it all the way up toward your toes, do not center it on your foot or put closer to the heel. Toes get colder faster and need all the help they can get
-- Didn't stick very well: There are a few sticky strips at intervals on the warmer that are supposed to adhere to your sock. They didnt stick very well when I was trying to put them on, which made for a challenge getting my foot into the boot with the warmer in the correct spot. Since I was wearing 2 pair of socks, to remedy this I put the warmer in between the first and second pairs of socks so the warmer didn't have anywhere to go whether it was adhering properly or not.
-- They didn't last 9 hours, more like 6. This wasn't a problem for us because we weren't outside for the full 9 hours, but just throwing it out there so you don't expect them to last if you will need them for the full advertised amount of time.
