There is a use for this monitor that I don't think most people have considered. By running an app called "twomonusb", which is available in the Google Play Store, I can use this as a second monitor. I have it connected, using a USB cable, to my 13 in Asus Zenbook Windows 10 computer. I love it. I think you can use it with a Mac also but I have not tested this. One more excuse for buying this strange but wonderful device. Of course, I also love it with my Tivo app, as a tv where I don't have cable, and with Netflix, PocketCast, YouTube, etc. etc. etc. Added next day. I have discovered more about this. The twomonusb software easily allows switching between cloned monitors and extended monitors. Really fun is that Touch input works on the extended monitor, even if there is no touch on the Windows computer. Of course you can just use the mouse but dragging windows around and opening folders by double tapping is fun. Since the View is connected with a usb cable, you also have access on your Windows computer to the files stored on the View. Since you can add a 256G card to the View this could be very helpful. Suggestion....Get an input stylus with this device to avoid fingerprints all over the screen.Search for Touch Screen Pen in Amazon. One even has a regular pen on the other end.
