I usually wait a while before I leave a review but I didn't have to with this one. The French press is high quality for the money. The dual mesh filter prevents grinds from getting into your coffee. There is a walk thru instruction manual for those who do not understand how a French press works or the proper cleaning procedures. I had a Bodum press before I broke it, I always had grinds in my coffee. It also had a plastic shoulder but that stripped and allowed more coffee grinds to pass through. This press has a metal shoulder nut that creates good compression on the plunger. All in all it is a great quality press and I would buy it again if I had to.
