How have I gone this long without having a footrest for my desk chair?!? It makes things SO much more comfortable. I'm a bit short (5' 7) so when my feet are flat on the floor, it can get uncomfortable for my legs. But with this footrest, there is a huge difference. My desk is at home, so I don't have shoes on, and this footrest feels so nice against my feet (luckily it unzips so you can toss the cover in with the wash). I guess the inside is like a memory foam material -- with just the right amount of firmness and give. I recommend this. Should have got one years ago. Makes me wonder what other items I previously dismissed as mere "creature comforts" are really more wonderful than I thought...
