I have this wig in the color OP27. It's dark at the roots and and gets lighter at the ends. I am a dark skinned african american woman and sometimes I shy away from wearing lighter hair colors however this one really complements my chocolate complexion. The dark roots give the wig a more natural look in my opinion. So dark skinned women, you might want to consider the OP27. I think you'll absolutely love the color. When I purchase lace wigs I look at a few things: Lifespan of the wig parting space, realism, and shedding. 1. Lifespan-After about a month, the ends started to look frizzy. It tangles but not terribly. To be fair, I am pretty hard on my wigs. I even slept in it once. I believe this unit will last 2-3 months if you take good care of it. 3 1/2 stars. 2. Parting space- This is the best feature of this wig. The part is beautiful! It's about 4 inches. My boyfriend was stunned when he he saw me in the wig for the first time he said "I thought you had a good weave. It looks like it's growing from your scalp" He was really doing an up close inspection LOL. 5 stars 3. Realism- The wig is not too shiny. The texture is similar to relaxed african american hair, but its VERY long. I'm 5"8 and it is almost to the middle of my back. I cut it to a little bit past shoulder length and also cut the bang to frame my face. 4 stars 4. Shedding- Shedding has been minimal. 5 Stars
