I have 6 cats and 2 of them are on the large side. The bigger cats never seemed comfortable in the average size boxes that you find in Wal-Mart, etc. They would "miss" the box sometimes too and that would make for a mess. This box is so big that I bought a 40lb box of litter at the same time and I dumped the whole 40lbs of litter in the box and it was still several inches from the top of it. It is huge! I bought one initially and all the cats loved it so much that I bought a second one. I had several small ones and they are now in the trash as they are no longer needed. Two of these with a daily cleaning works for 6 cats. I love it so much that I wish I was a cat so I could use it. Actually, I could but my wife would have issues with that.......I was just kidding about that. But, my cats love it, I'd love it if I were a cat and your cats will love it too.
