This a great portable scanner. Worth having when you need the scanner on hand. Majority the time I find the phone and tablet camera with scan apps don't quite cut it and you need a try scanner when I am on the road. This scanner is perfect for that. When scanning docs, articles, checks, and receipts it comes out clear even at low res. Have the option to scan in PDF and jpeg is a plus. Compatible with both Windows and Mac. I give this a thumbs up.
