After using Gerber's training pants (100% cotton underwear with a thicker padding in appropriate areas for absorbing urine) for 3 years, I decided to try something new. I ordered the Dimore Baby Toddler 5 Pack Assortment Cotton Training Pants in the "boy" designs. I saw that some reviewers noticed the lettering or spelling or something was off. I do not even care! CORRECTION: The dinosaur underwear no longer have any print on them at all. (Photo Included) These are only 95% cotton (and 5% spandex), but they WORK so much better than the Gerber I've been using! The padding is about the same thickness as the others, maybe just a little bit thicker. The lining / padding is, however, a bit stiffer, at least when new. All elastic is covered, so there is no skin contact with it. It is snug - this has pros and cons. I love that nothing can accidentally fall out of the leg holes of these underwear! My son is not a fan of how snug they are. He is able to take off his underwear himself, though, regardless of the brand. One of the major differences I noticed right away is that these underwear from Dimore not only absorb urine, but they don't let it leak all the way through! You can wind up with a little bit of soaking around the edges of the padding, otherwise you'd never even realize the child peed in them without physically checking! With our Gerber underwear, any urine soaked *right* through them and onto clothing, couch, floor, whatever the child was sitting on! Not only would I recommend these to friends and family, as soon as this review posts I intend to share it with my Elimination Communication group! These are awesome and I will buy more! I just wish that they had come with washing instructions.
