★★★★☆
Decent for the price, almost comparable to beats.
Original Review - Most reviews say "these beat the beats"; I wouldn't go that far. They are comparable in many ways, but I do not think one is better than the other. Each has pros and each has cons. Personally beats are over-rated and expensive, but they have many good features. These do not have the level of bass as beats, and the ear hooks do not have metal in them allowing you to "Mold" them to your ears. These sound good, but do not sound any better than beats, they sound about the same. The price is worth it, but these do not work with "high impact cardio" (aka running or jogging or crossfit) these do not stay in as good as beats, but for the price, they are decent. The "low battery" warning is ANNOYING, every minute or two for 5 or 10 minutes....YES I KNOW THE BATTERY IS LOW, let me enjoy my last 5 minutes of music please!!!! Decent for the price, works for lifting and light cardio (walking), but not great for high impact cardio, falls out of ears easily. Update 2019-01-16 Bought a "new model" of these recently. The sound is still as good as before (great sound for the price), but the design changed. In my previous review, I commented that they could match Beats by making mold-able (malleable) ear hooks. Well they implemented that aspect in this model, and definitely get an A for effort. The only problem is that they don't use a good enough grade (thickness) of metal, its too thin, flexible, and mold-able. I take them off at the gym mid set, and I have to re-mold the hook. It gets a little annoying, imagine the difference between the metal of a standard staple, vs the metal of a heavy duty paperclip. The staple will bend easier, but not stay in that position if even the slightest pressure is applied. Great idea, good progress from the last model, but they definitely need to make improvements. They do stay on during workouts and running at the gym, but the wrong twist or pressure and it will need to be remolded to fit your ear comfortably or the same sound as 5 seconds before it. I still recommend these, and the last pair became my preferred gym set (over my $200 beats). Good product, but def needs some tweaks.
