I would give these 5 stars; but honestly ONLY books get those. I’m a huge “thigh high” boot wearer, and lucky for me, they happen to be quite fashionable. Among my collections eg. -/+12 pairs ranging from hundreds of dollars... to these, let me just say out of ALL my boots, these I have in 4 colors. I’m 5’7” ish, 150lbs, I’m not fat, but I’m not thin, either. I have read that the biggest complaint regarding “thigh high” boots, is the fit around the thigh(s). I have read more complaints from women on how in this area, the boot is too tight. I’ve never had this problem; but I think because of the great design especially around the complaint area, you just might find, that these don’t do that. These, in particular have a beautiful and well thought out design of adding elastic (in a “V” shape) behind the knees. This both benefits in keeping it (the highest point of the boots) upright, so no sagging, as well as stretching neatly and without having to look for pairs that have a tie, around the thigh (which I personally think looks cheap, and maybe at times, gives away the entire idea behind “thigh high “ boots ). No woman wants to “tie” her “thigh high” boots up. It defeats the purpose. I have HUGE feet, size 10, 11 on bad days. Keep in mind, thigh high boots are NOT something you wear if you plan on blending in. They look best and most flattering on women with thin, long legs, and usually with a short dress, miniskirt (one that’s not too tight), and flares out, NOT IN at the bottom. These boots have all my favorite qualities, they’re “pointy” at the toe, but I can wear them for hours, very comfortable.The heal is not blocky, but it’s not a delicate stiletto either, which should never be on a “thigh high” boot anyway. They have a great zipper; long enough for it’s purpose, and well hidden. These are NOT real suede leather, which in my opinion, is a good thing. So be SURE to spray them down with water repellent supplies, if you want them to last. They are incredibly well made, especially for the price. And I love LOVE the length. These, “thigh highs” are just that, they come up very high, well past the knee. I hope this helps, like I wrote earlier; these boots are very well made, great style and fit.
