I bought this based on good reviews, as I needed a fast charger for my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It worked for about 2 months then I noticed a strong burning smell in the car. After a few minutes I realized it was coming from this unit. I unplugged it before it could start a fire. As you would expect, I'd recommend buying a different charger that will not set your car on fire. UPDATE: My original ONE star review is now upgraded to FOUR stars. Eleckey saw my review and sent me a replacement. I waited a full two months before updating this review to make sure the replacement was working properly. The replacement shows no sign of overheating after two months of use. I'm satisfied the company acknowledged the problem and did right by a customer and this should be taken into consideration by prospective buyers.
