I love this app! I just downloaded it for my seven-year-old and nine-year-old on their tablets. They are thrilled with it. It has plenty of fun features for them, like being able to dress up different Lego avatars and being able to take pictures of their build Lego items and post them for the larger community to see. It's almost like a Facebook for Legos. You can like other people's creations and post comments. I love that the app does not allow kid created usernames. The app generates random names and you pick one. So your kid maintains complete anonymity. Also, when your kid goes to post something, it doesn't immediately post. It first goes through and auditing/approval process. The "news feed" section also shares little movie clips of different Lego movies and videos, and it shares different building ideas too. I highly recommend this to anyone with kids that loves Legos. I am a very strict parent when it comes to access to the Internet, so the fact that I allow them to have this speaks volumes. My kids are not allowed to have access to web browsers or most other areas of the Internet, but with this I feel they are quite safe. The only downside I have seen thus far on this app is when the kid goes to dress up different Lego people, the app won't allow them to go back to the main screen. They have to close out of the app and reopen it. But this really isn't that big of a problem because It literally takes five seconds to close out and re-open. Just a bug that hopefully Lego will fix on a future update. All in all a fantastic app for a little Lego builders. :-)
