I never knew it was possible to actually look forward to sitting on/laying on/walking on a new rug, but this one has made me a believer! I am the proud mama of an all-boy toddler with no fear and one speed - ON! Haha! We have hardwood floors throughout all of the main living areas in our home and only the bedrooms are carpeted. Since he became a walker/runner (because that happened within a few hours of each other), we have genuinely tried to anticipate all of the things he could hurt himself on in our home and either eliminate them completely or replace them with toddler-friendlier options. Obviously, replacing all of the flooring in our home was not a responsible financial option, nor would we want to do that, so I was looking for PLUSH. This rug, with it's high pile and dense shag more than delivered! I ordered the 8x10 size and it fit our living room perfectly, and allowed for all of the furniture to rest on it. To my surprise, it made our tiny living room look huge and it completely brightened up our space. Now, whether or not I will ever regret the ivory color with two inside dogs and a toddler remains to be seen but it vacuums easily and the one spill (water, thank goodness!) wiped up really easily. We've had it in our home for one month and I genuinely could not be happier with our purchase, and I am nothing if not a bargain-hunter. I research everything I buy to a ridiculous level and Amazon's price for the same exact product beat no less than 5 other sites/stores. As for my sweet baby boy, if you're wondering what he thinks of it, I've attached two pictures. As soon as we unrolled it and got it positioned to our liking, he literally ran in and just laid in the middle of the rug! Haha! I was luckily able to capture a photo of it with my phone because it was hilarious. In the second picture, I asked him if he loved his new living room rug and I think his smile accurately reflects what our family thinks of this amazing rug!
