These are actually very nicely made....I liked them a lot, but they didn't quite fit the way I want (I was looking for looser fitting type, and I found another brand that better fit that needs). I'm still rating these quite high, because I actually like the look and feel of them better. These have a very nice liner in them...but they are a little more "slim" cut...waist, length and look...they were awesome...I just found that they pulled (or were just a little tighter) from the hips across the butt (it wasn't bad...I just would have preferred slightly looser through that area...and I really don't have a big butt that was causing the problem...it's just a slimmer cut). I really liked the design and color choices...and I loved the outside drawstring. Since we're big guys...we know that not a X sizes run the same...so I'm including a few pictures to give you an idea...you can compare them to a pair of shorts you already have. Pic 1 - Inseam is about 7.5 inches. that doesn't seem like much, but with the liner and how it actually fits...these just hit my knee area. I usually wear a 34 inseam... Pic 2 - Outseam - is about 24 inches. These do sit higher on the waist...or in our case...belly. Pic 3 - Waist - is about 29 stretched. I measured this stretching the waist band to it's fullest. To compare to shorts you already have...lay a pair flat...measure the front side of the waist...this will give you an idea if you wall in the right range. Pic 4- Tags and stitching. Very nice shorts! Pic 5 - Wearing...you can see that these hang just to the knees All in all..I'd highly recommend trying these shorts. They are a great price...cool style...nice colors.
