I LOVE this set of nails. I ended up buying the clippers as well, but the length of these nails, while long, are fine for a special occasion. I wore a set untrimmed for my birthday. I had no issues with the nails - I didn't bother to count how many came in the set because it's quite obvious that if there aren't exactly 500 pieces, it's close enough. I've wearing my 2nd set now, and I've got enough nails left for several more sets. The nails are very smooth and uniform; I had no issues applying polish and, untrimmed, I can see that all the nails are the same length. There are a variety of sizes included so it was easy to match up the proper size with most of my nails. I did have to shave the smallest sized nail just a bit to fit my pinky nails, but I do have narrow nails; the product cannot be faulted there. I did eventually trim down the first set of nails, and with the clippers I bought from the same company, it was a breeze. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this nail set.
