I had Amazon send these same pants to 3 friends who lived in below freezing temps. One (shown in photo) has multiple auto-immune disorders and suffers with chronic pain. She said "I have arthritis in my hips........and these really helps. Also what I like about the pants is that I don't have to wear long johns with them. It is more comfortable just to wear these pants; instead of a regular pair of slacks and long johns. I wear long johns or tights all winter." My other 2 friends also loved the pants and each has a serious health condition. My Boston friend suffers from chronic pneumonia and these keep her warm and comfortable; she even wears them to walk the dog even when it's snowed without getting chilled. She says: "They fit perfectly and feel so warm. Perfect for our walk with Pepper!" My Portland friend, whose body can't regulate it's temperature well (due to chemo) is finally warm enough to get out of bed and go get something to eat out of the kitchen.
