Purses big or small, Purse Pouch holds them all! Larger purses can nestle into the Purse Pouch like a hammock - in FRONT of the pocket. I've been using mine like that since I bought it, and no problems, no spills. The pocket is great for smaller purses, umbrellas, books, etc. Edited 8/23/15 - I am attaching a picture of my purse in the Purse Pouch. My vehicle is a Chevy Suburban. I purchased my Purse Pouch when if first came on the market, and it has been a God send. It is also easy to access while driving if you need something. My stuff was always falling on the floor on the passenger side - no more!
