For less than $250.00, you can buy this, and it absolutely sounds better than the aforementioned units. I had an earlier model Onkyo mini stereo system that served me well for 4 years. I think this model sounds a little better, fuller, and clearer than the previous one, which sounded fine. This unit also has a sturdier CD tray, and it loads the CD quicker. If you want a very reasonably priced, compact unit for your CD collection, the CS-265 is worth checking out.
