I saw that most other reviewers had only tried this product on newly sprayed spots and several people have wondered how it would work on older spots. Well, let me be the one to tell you HOW miraculous natures miracle really is. A couple of years ago, our 1 year old cat decided that he was going to use my daughter's closet as a litter box. I could smell a bad smell in her room but couldn't figure out where in the world it was coming from! One day, in horror, I discovered that the cat had been peeing...and even pooing a few times...in her closet for weeks if not months. I thought there was absolutely no way we were going to be able to do anything other than replace the carpet in her closet. Imagine the amount of pee that had soaked down to the floor boards! I dumped...I mean SOAKED...the carpet in her closet with natures miracle. I sucked up the excess with our carpet cleaner and left the wet carpet to dry which, as the label states, took a couple of weeks to dry completely. I'm telling you...I rammed my entire face into every square inch of that carpet once it was dry and absolutely NO urine smell remained. Most importantly, the cat never pee'd in there again, and he's gone into her closet plenty of times, so he obviouslly can't smell it anymore either. You will not be disappointed in this product.
