I love the idea of this thermometer and it might be pretty accurate if you follow the instructions and check the fever exactly at the right spot but it just makes it very difficult to use. On different areas of the forehead it shows completely different numbers. I just use this one as a backup to the ear thermometer that I have in case my child is asleep and I don't want to wake him up. I wouldn't trust this one completely but I decided to keep it.
