Finally! A perfect set for very fine hair
I just ordered my third set of these hot rollers b/c I don't ever want to be without them again. I have very fine (like a baby according to my stylist) shoulder length hair that wants to frizz and go crazy when left on its own. Because it is so fine, I have to be careful not to damage it with heat, but I must do something using heat or it frizzes horribly. I don't really want the curl, but the smoothness that heat gives me., and hot rollers give me a better style than either a curling iron or flat iron. I've bought many, many curling irons, flat irons and hot rollers over the years and these are by far the best hot rollers for my fine hair They are incredibly lightweight so they stay in my hair perfectly using the clips provided. Most others are so heavy they pull and want to fall out from the get go. These do not get too hot. I can easily manage them with my fingers never feeling uncomfortable and they are not too warm on my scalp. With other sets I have had to place cotton pads between the roller and my scalp. They give you curl that lasts. That is probably a positive for most people, I don't really want the curl. In a perfect world, Remington would produce these rollers with a larger diameter. I bought two sets in order to get enough of the large rollers to cover my head. The third set is for insurance in case something goes wrong with one of the other two. They do take longer to warm up than other sets. I assume that is b/c of the technology which is employed to protect the hair. I'll take that any day over hot as heck rollers that crisp the ends of my delicate hair. I just plug them in a little early- before I dress or while I put on make up. No big deal. For this price, I cannot imagine not trying these rollers if you have very fine, fizzy hair like mine. I think you will be thrilled.
