I had wanted a milk steamer and frother to lessen my trips to the coffee shop for cappuccinos. I was debating between this one and the ones made by nespresso and breville. I went with this one because it was substantially cheaper than the other 2 brands. So far, I have been using the machine 1-2 times daily. It will steam up to 250 ml milk and froth up to 125 ml milk. I have used the hot froth setting with regular milk, almond milk, and skim plus milk. The foam is the best with skim plus milk because of the extra protein. After using the machine, I pour the steamed milk and spoon out the foam. I then rinse the nonstick interior with water and wipe clean with a paper towel. Even my husband can use it, and he is a Luddite.
