The cover is perky and interesting. I am not a witch (but who knows) but thought that this sounded interesting enough to give a read. I am not really religious but truly believe in the power of praying, meditating, etc. all truly help a person – spiritually, mentally, and physically. Put it out there into the universe and make it manifest. I do like to learn about intentions and how to make them happen. It sounded interesting so I wanted to learn more. The book is not that big or fat but gives a good overview – really. Especially for someone who doesn’t know anything really about the subject. It touches on everything and goes into so many things. It tells you about what magic is, manifestation, self-awareness, intentions, centering, and divination. It explains charms and essential oils (I do love my essential oils). It is quite interesting. It also goes into things such as the best time to do magic for you – depending on your sign, the date, colors, numbers, herbs, elements, lunar cycles – everything. It also has a good glossary to tell you what certain things mean like what’s a talisman, what’s a sigil, what’s scrying, what’s a poppet. It briefly goes over the Clares – but only 1 page. : ( That part is so interesting I wish it were much more. But it is a start and leaves me to my own in doing research and learning more.
