I really like this device. It is maintenance free and, for me it works really well. I was struggling to find way to get rid of cockroaches without using any chemicals, baits or traps. I have a newborn and some cats and this leaves my mind at ease. I personally use this behind my microwave as that’s he only outlet that was free. I was concerned that the microwave might hinder the effectiveness but it doesn’t seem to matter. Before I started using this, I would wake up in the mornings and find several of little bugs and would run away quickly. Now, with this set on the blue light, I very rarely see them. I can’t hear it too which is great and I just always leave it on this setting. I will say, that they are not completely gone. I have still had the occasional bug run out but the 95%+ reduction in bugs is incredible! Just from simply plugging this thing in and then pressing the side button 1 time to change it to blue. That’s it. I would recommend this to everyone who is having bug issues because of how easy, safe and maintenance free it is. FYI if the unit looses power, it doesn’t remember the last setting. If I had to reach for improvements, it would be nice if it were a little thinner and you could turnoff the light (I don’t personally care if the light is on or not but I’m sure someone does).
