This is a good story.
I haven't cried over a book for a while but I did cry over this one. The storytelling is good. She writes in the voice of the people and describes the scenes vividly so that you feel there. There are really more stories than the book woman. It's also a story of Appalachia, extreme poverty, discrimination, women's sufferings, miners, and a love story. You know the struggles were real, even though this is fiction. I haven't written to many authors as a fan but I will this one.
